Disability Cricket is a major focus for the Northumberland Cricket Board. Helping disabled children become active in sport and particularly cricket is a key priority for us. We believe cricket can inspire, learn life skills and raise self-esteem in disability children and our sessions aim to do this. There are three main areas where we base our disability cricket which are:

Hexham (Gateway Warriors)

Alnwick

Blue Door (North Tyneside)

We conduct enjoyable and fun sessions which are based on giving disabled children a chance to participate in cricket. The Gateway Warriors is also a scheme that we conduct, which allows disabled children to participate into various sports and have a chance playing short games and training within the sport. Here a few videos which show how Northumberland Cricket Board conduct disability cricket sessions, with our qualified coaches giving there best to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.
